Add online retailer Apple Pie to the growing list of organizations seeking to promote Made in the USA products.

The Seattle, Wash.-based retailer offers thousands of American products from kids' toys to clothing to dog treats. Brands represented on the site include Anchor Hocking, Caldrea, Epicurean, Leatherhead Sports and U.S. of Awesome.

“Buying domestic, regional and local goods increases employment and economic health of the country as a whole," says Brant Williams, a co-founder of Apple Pie. "We’re excited to be a vehicle for U.S. manufacturers to sell their wares, and a destination for shoppers to find those products."

Apple Pie asserts that many U.S. manufacturers have been relegated to small, niche selling outlets but that it will provide them a "mass market channel with a captive audience.”

The company offers free shipping for orders of $50 or more.
