Production Pulse: What's New in Industrial Safety

July 30, 2024
Safety performance improves across North America, but industrial accidents remain too common globally.

Due to technical challenges, several episodes of IndustryWeek's Production Pulse video series did not get posted to our website, until now. We'll be adding these lost episodes (found alongside some never-released Twilight Zone episodes that we're going to keep for ourselves) throughout the next few weeks.

In this episode, we talk workplace safety. The world's best manufacturers start every daily meeting talking about safety, near misses, potential hazards and other issues that could injure or kill their workers. Yet, globally, industrial fatalities are still far too common.

In this episode, IndustryWeek Editor-in-Chief Robert Schoenberger discusses the latest safety trends with EHS Today Editor-in-Chief Dave Blanchard and Chemical Processing Editor-in-Chief Traci Purdum.
