NetSuite Partners Introduce New Verticals

Oct. 25, 2007
New verticals include retail POS, seaport management, electronics wholesale/distribution and pharmaceutical distribution.

San Mateo, Calif.-based on-demand business application vendor NetSuite Inc., recently announced that its partners and solution providers have introduced, via SuiteBundler, a host of new vertical solutions spanning markets including Software; Agriculture Equipment Dealerships; Seaport Management; Retail (Point of Sale); Franchises for packaging and shipping materials; Electronics Wholesale/Distribution; and Pharmaceutical Distribution.

NetSuite's partners are also leveraging SuiteBundler to deliver add-ons to core NetSuite functionality in the areas of Fixed Asset Management, Tax Automation, Human Resource Management and Warranty Management.

According to NetSuite, the introduction of SuiteBundler and its capabilities ushers in a new concept for the rapidly growing Software as a Service (SaaS) market -- "Service as Software." Just as SaaS transformed the software business in lowering total costs of ownership and ongoing maintenance, the company says that its Service as Software will change the face of implementation and value-added services delivery by professional consulting service partners.
