LFB Group Selects Apriso for Managing Manufacturing Operations

Aug. 5, 2009
The French biopharmaceutical firm LFB Group has selected Apriso's FlexNet to help improve efficiency and enhance traceability across its manufacturing, warehouse and quality operations.

LFB develops, manufactures and markets medicinal products for the treatment of serious and often rare diseases in several major therapeutic fields. Apriso will help LFB to improve operational workflows within a regulatory environment, supported by FlexNet's RFID-enabled tracking capabilities, according to Apriso.

"Part of LFB's selection process was based on two factors: Apriso's market momentum in the life sciences industry and Apriso's ability to support both discrete and process life sciences operations," said Rick Gallisa, industry director, life sciences at Apriso. "The regulated biopharmaceutical environment at LFB is very demanding in terms of quality and traceabilityboth inherent capabilities within Apriso's solution."

Apriso is a Long Beach, Calif.-based provider of adaptive software for global manufacturing operations management (MOM).
