Magnum Pv will begin production of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) modules on its state-of-the art manufacturing line in Brampton, Ontario, this October. The production line was developed by German solar technology giant Schmid Technology Systems GmbH.
The first modules with UL/CSA certification will roll off of the Magnum Pv line as early as mid-October. At the heart of the system is a fully-automated tabber stringer featuring high-precision contactless resistance soldering which radically reduces long-term cell degradation due to thermal microfractures.
As part of the Magnum Group of Companies and headquartered at its 142,000 sq. ft facility in Brampton, Ontario, Magnum Pv has access to extensive engineering and manufacturing experience acquired through years of industry leadership in metals and traditional power generation.
Magnum Pv is currently securing orders in its initial production runs. Magnum Pv offers the highest quality monocrystalline and polycrystalline PV modules in Ontario, available in 245, 250, 290 and 300 watt models.
In addition to solar PV modules, Magnum Pv will offer complete turnkey solutions including project planning, financing, development, installation and commissioning. All Magnum Pv modules are backed by a 25-year comprehensive product warranty.
