An inside look at how Raytheon Missile Systems integrated IoT into its design, engineering, product testing and plant operations to save time, advance its technology and be more cost-effective.

Raytheon Missile Systems's IoT upgrade of its imaging, research, testing and manufacturing facilities in Tucson has been more than five years in the making. Here's an inside look, from the Immersive Design Center--where thermal, electrical, mechanical and industrial engineers collaborate with senior assemblers and testers from the factory floor--to the Fusion factory where robotic technology is greatly reducing testing time; to the shop floor, where robots collaborate with workers on tasks.
