Hoping to help manufacturers streamline supply chain operations, BEA Systems, Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based enterprise infrastructure software company, and Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced new RFID solutions.
The enterprise solutions will focus on assisting companies meet RFID compliance standards, develop digital supply chains as well as help track and trace high-value reusable assets. The software will also address safety issues across the entire supply chain and assist in compliance with RFID regulatory guidelines.
"Customers are looking for RFID solutions that can help them leverage enterprise assets from the network edge back to the data center with superior reliability, availability, scalability and performance," said Wai Wong, executive vice president of products, BEA Systems, Inc.
HP offers comprehensive services designed for planning, designing, managing and supporting the RFID-enabled solutions. BEA provides BEA WebLogic RFID products.
