2014 IndustryWeek Best Plants Finalists Named

This annual salute to outstanding manufacturing has narrowed its search to 14 facilities across North America.

IndustryWeek congratulates the finalists of the 2014 IW Best Plants competition, which annually salutes excellence in manufacturing across North America.

This year's finalists represent manufacturing facilities across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

While they are located throughout North America, these finalist facilities share several common elements, including admirable performance metrics, comprehensive efforts to improve across the many functions that occur within a manufacturing plant, and engaged workforces.

From these finalists, IndustryWeek will choose the 2014 IW Best Plants winners, who will represent the 25th anniversary class of the IW Best Plants competition winners. The winning facilities will be profiled in the January 2015 issue of IndustryWeek and online at www.industryweek.com. They also will be honored at the 2015 IndustryWeek Best Plants conference, which will take place May 4-6 in Charlotte. -- Jill Jusko
