Meet the 2022 IndustryWeek Best Plants Finalists

April 26, 2022
These 10 plants demonstrate excellence in practices and performances, as well as a devotion to continuous improvement.

The 2022 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards competition is well underway, and we are pleased to share with you a milestone moment.  It is our honor to introduce the finalists in this annual salute to manufacturing excellence in North America, 10 plants that demonstrate superior practices and performances, as well as a devotion to continuous improvement.

These are plants with engaged workforces and teamwork at their core. They are facilities that strive to be their best, each and every day. They are problem-solvers who never let a challenge get the best of them. Nevertheless, these teams know they always can do better.

This year’s crop of IW Best Plants finalists is a diverse lot, representing five states and Mexico. Both Texas and South Carolina boast two finalist manufacturing plants. Similarly, a wide range of products are made by the 2022 IW Best Plants finalists, ranging from washers and dryers to forklift trucks, cemented carbide inserts, and pressure sensitive tape. And that’s not all.

The competition has not yet concluded. These 10 finalists now move to the second round of the IW Best Plants Awards competition. Later this year, we will announce the winners from this stellar cast of North America’s finest. Additionally, we will share the winners' stories both in print and online, and celebrate even further during an awards ceremony at the Manufacturing & Technology Show, October 18-20, in Cleveland, Ohio.
