Manufacturing & Technology Conference Goes Virtual
This has been a year like no other. In keeping with that theme, IndustryWeek’s Manufacturing & Technology conference in 2020 will be a virtual experience. We are committed to providing attendees with the valuable insights and interactions they look forward to every year, while protecting the health and safety of everyone involved.
The three-day conference, taking place from December 1-3, is designed to replicate the invaluable networking, collaboration and education of M&T in a 100% online environment.
"Since March, manufacturers and industry leaders have been wrestling with the impossible complications of COVID-19—balancing safety requirements and the need for productivity to provide the world and their communities essential products," says Travis Hessman, IndustryWeek's editor-in-chief. "This is exactly the audience Manufacturing & Technology, an IndustryWeek event, is designed to serve. Whether virtual or in-person, it is our responsibility to support our community in their efforts to keep manufacturing strong and to endure crises like they are experiencing today.”
Four keynote speakers will headline this year’s M&T conference, sharing their vision for the technological breakthroughs and workforce and leadership tactics that are shaping the future of manufacturing. They’ll look back at the lessons learned from the year of COVID-19 and ahead at the industry's road to recovery. Attendees will also meet this year's class of IW Best Plants winners.
The show will feature five content tracks—Automation, Continuous Improvement, Leadership, Smart Manufacturing, and Talent Management—which will provide an opportunity to learn best practices from and interact with manufacturing leaders on the front lines of change and improvement. We have also built a virtual trade show that will provide attendees with the opportunity to explore the latest advances in equipment, software, and digital solutions available today, interact with vendors from across the industry, and network with attendees and presenters.
