Companies will develop and supply engine controls for Rolls-Royce aerospace engines

Rolls-Royce said on August 14 that it planned to form a joint venture with Goodrich to develop and supply engine controls for Rolls-Royce aerospace engines. The companies would create a 50:50 joint venture.

The companies said the venture would "enable the two companies to integrate their engine controls activity more closely."

"It would combine Goodrich's existing UK-based engine controls design and manufacturing business and Rolls-Royce's expertise in the integration of controls into the engine."
