IndustryWeek's annual pursuit of manufacturing excellence across North America is once again underway. The 18th annual IW Best Plants competition, which names 10 winners every year, has narrowed its search to a group of finalists deserving of applause for the excellent performance metrics they have achieved and the unending pursuit of improvement that is part of their manufacturing DNA.
Finalists operate in industries as diverse as automotive, defense, food & beverage, health care, industrial products and printing. Finalists include representatives from Mexico and Canada, as well as the United States.
IndustryWeek will select 10 winners of the 2007 competition from this group of finalists. Profiles of the winning facilities will appear in the January 2008 issue of IndustryWeek.
