Energycentric.com will offer an online marketplace for the buying and selling of parts and services associated with the construction, maintenance, and operation of energy delivery infrastructure for electricity and natural gas. "The energy products and services industry is highly fragmented on both ends of the buying and selling process, and we have a technology solution that creates a one-stop digital marketplace [that] handles everything from research and planning to procurement and fulfillment," says Susan Craft, founder and CEO of Energycentric.com. The site will be able to process transactions from order creation through order acknowledgment, product shipping, invoicing, and payment receipt. Supplying the technology support for Energycentric.com is Chicago-based Consolidated Commerce.
