Manhattan Associates Inc. says it has fully integrated its transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) solutions to offer end-to-end supply-chain-execution capability. The integration marks the culmination of Manhattan Associates' acquisition of Logistics.com last December, the Atlanta-based technology provider says. The integrated WMS/TMS suite synchronizes the communication between the two individual suites and increases the collaboration between both systems, Manhattan Associates says. The integrated environment provides a single, unified integration point to enterprise-resource-planning systems. "Gone are the days of warehouse management activities happening in isolation from the transportation management activities," says Pervinder Johar, vice president of transportation product development at Manhattan Associates. "Now the two systems act as one, exchanging information and providing customers with more flexibility to determine how their supply-chain processes are executed."
