PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Customer Relationship Management 8.11 delivers to manufacturers a comprehensive CRM solution on a single toolset, single user interface and a single data model, according to the Pleasanton, Calif.-based technology firm. The solution, a module within the EnterpriseOne 8.11 product family, offers the following business processes:
Consensus-based forecasting -- PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne CRM 8.11 simultaneously provides a revenue forecast to sales management and a product forecast to operations management through a consensus-based approach.
Real-time order promising -- The solution allows customer-facing employees to promise delivery based on product availability, supply-chain capacity and order profitability.
Case and service management -- The solution creates a closed-loop failure analysis process. It also enables automated warranty claims against suppliers for failed components.
Lean and opportunity management -- Alerts make the planning organization aware of significant changes in demand.
PeopleSoft announced the new module's availability at the 2004 APICS International Conference and Exposition earlier this month.
