Matthew Bathon
Matthew Bathon focuses his practice on litigating Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission (ITC) and IP disputes in district courts. He has handled matters across a variety of technologies, including, solar modules, LED, GPS, semiconductor lasers and laser drivers, digital televisions, video game systems, computer architecture, computer graphics, communications protocols, telecommunications technology, software design, and digital video compression. Matthew also assists clients in resolving disputes with US Customs and Border Protection.
Matthew served as a senior investigative attorney in the ITC's Office of Unfair Import Investigations, where he represented the federal government in investigations regarding electrical, computer, and mechanical patents in various technologies. He has also worked extensively with the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, the Maryland Parole Partnership, and represented clients in landlord-tenant court.
