Summary

Manufacturers across industries are struggling more and more with rising scrap, rework, and quality costs due to complex production lines, high turnover, and supplier issues. These issues can cripple efficiency and increase operational costs.

Abigail Tingley, Development Manufacturing Engineer at aerospace supplier AirBorn, faced these challenges when her operations team prioritized productivity over consistency and quality, leading to costly rework and inefficiency. Similarly, Matt Ranallo, Director of Operational Excellence at global vinyl manufacturing supplier, VEKA, navigated the complexities of transforming a legacy company’s outdated processes into a digitally aligned, quality-driven operation.

In this webinar, Abigail and Matt share how they tackled these issues by making quality a central part of operations through process consistency, more frequent quality checks, and leveraging real-time data to build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Humberto Silva, Customer Success Manager at Tulip, will also share insights from other manufacturers that achieved similar results, offering actionable strategies that can be applied to your own operations.

During this webinar, they'll discuss:

  • Common quality challenges in manufacturing, such as complex production lines and high turnover
  • Best practices for early quality checks, using real-time data, and enhancing collaboration to reduce defects
  • Strategies to make quality a shared responsibility and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Real results from Abigail and Matt on improving quality performance and how you can apply these lessons

Whether you're grappling with quality challenges or looking to refine your existing processes, this session will provide the insights and practical guidance you need to drive impactful change in your organization.
