Randy Swearer
Dr. Randy Swearer brings over 25 years of passion in higher education leadership and strategy to Autodesk as the Vice President of Learning Futures. Randy is deeply involved in exploring the future of education, including learning co-creatively with intelligent computer systems, micro-credentialing, cross-disciplinary learning, and in teaching design-driven innovation to the next generation of students. By helping students collaborate and think more creatively, he hopes to empower them to address the complex global challenges of our era--and to transform the way we all think of education and the workforce of the future.
Randy was previously the provost and dean of faculty at the University of Philadelphia and Dean of Parsons School of Design. He served as Deputy Director of the design program of the National Endowment for the Arts and the Design Division head at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas. He began his career as a designer at Wang Laboratories and IBM.
