If both Office Depot and its supplier use the same financial management system why not have the customer submit invoices directly to the same company? For users of the Ariba Spend Management system that is now possible. Avolent, Inc., a San Francisco-based software provider, will work with Ariba, a Sunnyvale, Ca. financial software company, to allow its BizCast customers to send electronic invoices directly to the Ariba Supplier Network.
"Our BizCast solutions process more than $44 billion in transactions each year," said Scott Dunlap, marketing vice president of Avolent, Inc. "More importantly, however, we continue to drive down the costs of exchanging financial information for both the supplier and buyer by integrating our leading solutions."
