Compiled ByTravis Hessman In keeping with the theme of change that has characterized the company for the last 15 years, BFGoodrich Corp. has announced plans for its latest corporate modification -- a new name. Effective June 1, 2001, following expected shareholder approval in mid-April, the Charlotte, N.C., company will change its name to Goodrich Corp. The aerospace company also will adopt a new logo. These changes cap dramatic steps BFGoodrich has taken to reconfigure its marketing base since exiting the tire business in 1986 and aligning more closely with the aerospace industry. Some 84% of the company's $4.4 billion in annual revenues comes from the aerospace industry.
