Organization To Drive Business Performance Accountability

Compiled ByTraci Purdum BPM Forum, an organization comprised of more than 175 companies, aims to drive business performance accountability by addressing the challenges of performance management, corporate accountability and compliance. According to BPM, the organization will advance and advocate new practices, technologies and processes to improve the measurement and management of business performance. "There is a critical need for performance accountability," says James P. Bramante, BPM advisory board member and global leader of the financial management services practice at IBM Business Consulting Services. "To succeed in this environment, companies need to improve their tools and processes for managing and driving better business performance and predictability." Other BPM members include General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Tyco International, PPG Industries, Booz Allen Hamilton, PricewaterhouseCoopers and National Scientific Corp.
