Applications Sought For Water Quality Award, Research Grant

Scientists, teams or organizations conducting research that could help solve water-quality issues have until June 1 to apply for a $100,000 research grant to continue their work. The Paul L. Busch Award, which carries with it the $100,000 grant, is presented by the WERF (Water Environment Research Foundation) Endowment for Innovation in Applied Water Quality Research. The award "seeks to distinguish rising stars in scientific and engineering research in the fields of water quality and the water environment." Applicants for the award may self-nominate or be nominated by a third party.
