Two companies have joined forces to create an integrated solution that allows customers to link their physical and financial supply chains using the same data. Miami-based New Generation Computing (NCG) Inc. has introduced to the alliance its physical supply-chain software, which includes Web-based strategic-sourcing software that allows real-time management. New York-based TradeCard Inc. employs a paperless, Web-based platform that allows for electronic management, settlement and financing of transactions. The strategic alliance between the two companies will link their Web processes, allowing users to automate and track accounts payable and receivable based on packing and procurement information already being captured in the fulfillment process. With the integration, TradeCard's financial platform will automatically receive documents from NGC's system. Apparel firm Haggar Clothing Co. has acquired the systems to employ in its supply chain, the two technology firms say.
