In recognition for its efforts in process control across its supply chain, Mazak was recently awarded Supplier Quality Excellence Process Certification from Caterpillar, Inc. It marks the first time that Caterpillar has bestowed a machine tool builder with the certification.

ISO 9001:2000 certification is required to be considered for Caterpillar’s certification program, which examines and evaluates a company’s performance through nine distinct modules.
