Conference Information
To remain profitable, manufacturers are being forced to change the way they do business. Many companies have made great efforts to improve their processes, including modernizing their ERP, Supply Chain Management, and Product Lifecycle Management systems.
Yet none of these investments address the shop floor, where a manufacturer's strategy becomes reality. Through synchronized, collaborative, flexible manufacturing operations systems, manufacturers are focusing beyond optimizing and synchronizing production, quality, and material processes at individual plants. They are also harmonizing these activities across all global plants while seamlessly connecting to corporate business, supply chain, and design functions.
View this on-demand event to learn how many world-class manufacturers are beating today's economic challenges by focusing on the shop floor as a vital part of their manufacturing operations strategy -- and why you should too. You hear from:
-
Pierfrancesco Manenti, Senior IDC Manufacturing research analyst, shares findings from IDC's latest research. You learn about the compelling reason to focus on shop floor operations, with the ultimate goal of global, harmonized, real-time manufacturing capabilities.
